Haivision Video Streaming Solutions Granted Authority to Operate at NASA

Haivision IPTV and Video Streaming Technology Will Help NASA Distribute Live and On-Demand Video Across NASA Facilities Nationwide

MONTREAL, CANADA – August 15, 2019 –  Haivision, a leader in video streaming solutions, today announced that the company’s IPTV and video streaming technologies have been granted the Authority to Operate (ATO) at NASA as part of a five year IDIQ contract.

Haivision’s video streaming solutions are currently used in NASA facilities nationwide, including the NASA Wallops Flight Facility and the Mission Launch Command Center. The ATO will expand the use of Haivision solutions to power live and on-demand video streaming and IPTV workflows across NASA bases. A number of Haivision products were named to the ATO list, including the latest version of the Haivision Media Platform, Haivision Media Gateway, Haivision video encoders and transcoders and Haivision Play set-top boxes.

In addition to the NASA ATO, Haivision has also achieved Department of Defense Information Assurance Risk Management Framework (DIARMF) certification and was the first video streaming solution to be Certified by the U.S. Department of Defense Information Network Approved Products List (DODIN APL).

“Our work with NASA makes Haivision the most broadly certified video streaming solution and is a testament to our commitment to the strict requirements of the IT infrastructure and networks of the Federal government,” said Brian Henry, Vice President Sales, US Defense and Enterprise at Haivision.
