Las Vegas recently welcomed the broadcast industry’s biggest names for the 2025 NAB Show and with thousands of attendees walking the showroom floor, Haivision had a very strong presence at this year’s event.

If you couldn’t make the trip out to Vegas and visit the Haivision booth in the West Hall, keep reading this post for a recap of the biggest highlights from the 2025 NAB Show.

A groundbreaking announcement with Verizon

On day one, Haivision joined Verizon Business to unveil a first-of-its-kind mobile private 5G network built on NVIDIA and made possible with key partners including Haivision, FanDuel TV, and Ericsson. The demonstration showcased Haivision transmitters including Haivision Pro and MoJoPro sending live video over Verizon private 5G via StreamHub into an AI-powered system for intelligently prioritizing multiple camera feeds to highlight key moments in a horse race. Haivision Falkon X2 soars to big wins

Just before the start of the 2025 NAB Show, Haivision unveiled the all-new Falkon X2 5G mobile transmitter. Falkon is a game-changing mobile video transmitter for live broadcast contribution with pristine 4K UHD video, ultra-low latency, and maximum portability.

After making its debut at NAB, Falkon X2 won both the TV Tech and TVBEurope “Best of Show” awards The TV Tech Awards are judged on innovation, feature set, cost efficiency and performance in serving the industry by a panel of experts, while TVB Europe honors the outstanding products and solutions from the show floor at NAB each year.

And Falkon was also honored with an NAB Product of the Year award. The winners of these awards are announced live during a ceremony in the Las Vegas Convention Center and are given to the most significant and promising new products being exhibited at the show.

Innovative collaborations with industry leaders

Haivision innovations could be seen across the convention center in Las Vegas, with a strong presence at multiple partner booths.

Haivision’s VP of Sales, Colin Coyle, gave two presentations at the T-Mobile for Business booth during the show highlighting how the Haivision Pro series of mobile video transmitters and private 5G networks are coming together to create innovative coverage of the world’s biggest sporting events.

Shure announced a partnership with Haivision, combining the free MoJoPro mobile camera app with Shure’s MoveMic wireless microphones supporting two channels of audio, ideal for conducting live interviews. This allows mobile journalists, professional broadcasters, and content creators to capture and deliver high-quality video and audio.

AWS once again had multiple Makito X4 video encoders and decoders at its booth in support of its live cloud production solution for sports.

This year’s event was a massive success for Haivision with multiple big announcements and the release of a ground-breaking, and award-winning, new 5G mobile video transmitter. We’d like to thank our partners, customers, and everyone who came to our booth for making this year’s show in Las Vegas an unforgettable experience.
